Alain Van Kerckhoven

Alain Van Kerckhoven (Brussels, 1964) is a music publisher. He has written numerous transverse articles and essays on the complex relationship between society, technology, music and consciousness.

When discovering his poetic and essayist production, composer Michel Lysight proposed him a musical collaboration. As a librettist, Alain Van Kerckhoven attaches great importance to the musicality of the text and to the portability of the emotional charge by the performers. Anamnèse for mixed choir and string orchestra, and Les Chants de Casanova for contratenor, mixed choir and orchestra, are currently the two best examples of it.
